It’s all about… Friendship
In Friendship, silence is more important than words.
Edward/Rod/Dr.Jim/Chris at ELLEN show
are those who
really know you…
BUT love you anyway.
You can make more friends
in two months
by becoming interested in other people
than you can in two years
by trying to get other people
interested … in you.
“The real test of friendship is: can you literally do nothing with the other person?
Can you enjoy those moments of life that are utterly simple?”
“We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan;
and a widower that man who has lost his wife.
But that man who has known the immense unhappiness of losing a friend,
by what name do we call him?
Here every language is silent
and holds its peace in impotence.”
Friendship multiplies the good in life and divides the evil.
No birth certificate is issued when friendship is born. There is nothing tangible.
There is just a feeling that your life is different and that your capacity to love and care has miraculously been enlarged without any effort on your part.
It’s like having a tiny apartment and somebody moves in with you. But instead of becoming cramped and crowded, the space expands, and you discover rooms you never knew you had until your friend moved in with you.
A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure, for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.
