Don’t PANIC this shall end, but in the meantime keep busy. There are things to do from – YUP good old Netflix, Hulu, Prime etc to new things you haven’t done before. Many of my patients have talked about sorting out things at home that they have thought of doing forever and haven’t done in forever!! Myself included, I just went through one of the closet shelves that has bugged me, and sorted out my freezer of old and REALLY OLD leftovers. Tossed the dangerous ones, and stocked up on new items to make it through the shut down. Thanks to the internet we can connect with folks we haven’t talk to in a long time, or take virtual tours of museums – local and around the world. Listen to some concerts that are being provided. Last night at 3 am, I decided it was a good time to do some jumping jacks on my mini trampoline! Normally I do 5 -8 flights of stairs every day at my office, university and at home but staying close that is not happening, so trampoline has my attention. YES YES YES be physical. It is one of the best ways to fight Depression which will hit us all during this time. TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!

This will be a good resource for reminders of how to get through this unprecedented time of isolation and your suggestions just gave me a few ideas of how to spend the day. Thanks Dr. G!
